When I was in Year 6, my mother took the kittens from my brother's friend's house. His family doesn't want to keep them as they already had a 'bunch' of cat families in their house, so they decided to hand them to us.

Actually, my mother wanted to take only a kitten for me but the mother of my brother's friend said, "I'm afraid that that poor kitty would be lonely without a friend,"

Heard that, my mother asked for another kitten from her.

My mother called me and told me that I will have new 'friends'. Hearing that, I was so happy knowing that I will have new mates. Since Momo, my old mate, passed away, I don't have any pet and I was quite lonely but with the presence of these lovely kitties, they've brighten up my days.

At first, I have no idea what to name those little kittens.

They're cute, too cute to name them silly names :P

At last.. I've got idea what to name those adorable little kitties. The black and white; Miki, stands for 'blacky' and the other one; Miko, stands for 'koko' because she is brown in colour (actually, it's a mix colour)

I rear them until they become adults.

November 2012; the date where my cousins and my grandmother told me that they haven't seen Miki for a long time. That time, I was still in school. I was a little bit suprised but not for long. I was thinking that; maybe she's going to my neighbours' house.

A week has passed. Miki still haven't coming home yet.

My thought was totally wrong.

She wasn't at my neighbours' house.

She ran away.

Yes, ran away.

She did that because she knew; the end of her life has come.

Every cat will do that at the end of their lives because they didn't want their masters to be sad but to be worried; of course! -_-

Starting from that, I knew that I had lost a lovely tabby, the one I prefer the most.

All I have left is; Miko.

Only Miko.. and I have to take a good care of her.

Apabila ditanya, kenapa buat blog?
Sebenarnya, selain melukis, main kucing, saya juga suka menulis.
Sebab saya seringkali menelaah, mentadabbur kehidupan saya sendiri.
Saya gemar memikirkan hikmah yang terselit di sebalik setiap kejadian.
Saya juga sebenarnya dalam diam-diam, suka memerhati orang sekeliling.
Kemudian, mentadabbur mereka pula. ;)

Disebabkan terlalu gemar berfikir, terasa sesak dada sekiranya tidak dikongsi apa yang saya dapat daripada tadabbur saya..Tetapi saya juga tidaklah suka sangat berkongsi dengan orang. Kerana khuatir mereka tidak berminat mendengar cerita saya. Dan mungkin juga kerana saya lebih suka pendam.
Lalu, blog ini dipilih sebagai ruang untuk mengabadikan suara hati saya.

Dan juga, ruang untuk menyimpan memori-memori lalu.
Kadang, kita lupa kita yang dahulu bagaimana orangnya.
Kita lupa, logam-logam masa silam kita. Dek kerana terlampau merendah diri.
Ruang inilah medan untuk kucari semula logam-logam yang telah kabur dan semakin hilang.

In the year of 2011, Miko & Miki came into Mahfuzah's life as their owner had given them to her. Their presence had brought happiness to the family. It was their first experience to have such active kitties. Mahfuzah took a good care of the two kitties until then, in the month of November 2012, Miki went missing. The absence of Miki was never known by anyone. They thought that maybe it's time for her to go away to meet her Creator or she was taken by someone. Since that, Miko lived all by herself.


Years passed. Miko grew as the only cat in the family. She never pregnant since the past 2 years so she never had kittens and the family never get new members in their family but they don't care much about it. Having Miko in their life is the most precious gift that Allah have ever granted. They are grateful that Miko is still breathing and stayed with them for 4 years. They wished that Miko could stay with them longer. As longer as she can. Biiznillah.

On twenty second of May 2016, was the day Mahfuzah lost her dearest cat, Miko. It did hurt her a lot but she remembered that Allah had said; every soul shall taste death. It is time for Miko to meet her Creator. And so do Mahfuzah herself..soon.
