Assalamu'alaikum
Today marks my 26 years of living.
This picture was taken by murobbi during my first tajmik in my second year degree. First try tajmik adik2 first year. Scared, anxious, unconfident can be seen clearly. Forcing a smile. Not thinking I would succeed.
But, hey, I am you 6 years later. Just so you know, you are still a part of me. The scared me. The anxious me. The insecure me. Just, improving. They didn’t know you. But I do.
I just want to say: you did well. 👏🏻
You’re a murobbi now.
Thank you for the flaws you carried throughout the years; they taught me how to fix them.
Thank you for the stupidest things you made; they helped me grow wiser.
And thank you for standing back up after every fall and not giving up all these years.
Barakallahu fiikum to every akhwat in my DnT journey. Definitely won’t forget the moments they advised me when I was down, the times they cooked a special goodbye dessert before returning home, and the times they motivated me. Nor will I forget their faces.
Thank you Allah for allowing me to embrace myself and accept every decree You have written for me. Thank you Allah for letting all the ups and downs happen so I could taste the sweetness and beauty of life.
